I am the founder of my family run business established in 1999. Carioca is a Portuguese word that refers to the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The original word "Kara'i oca" comes from the indigenous Amerindian language of the Tupi people.
My daughter looks after the reservations and my son and I handle all the email enquiries and business.
